Standing Instruction for SCS

Tomorrow is 31/12/2009 – due date for executing SI for crediting the quarterly interest for SCS accounts to the respective SB accounts.


In respect of SCS accounts which were extended after maturity, the standing instructions will not be executed and hence the interest will not get posted in the SB accounts.


After tomorrow’s day-begin and the execution of SI, the list of SCS accounts for which SI has not be executed can be printed from DBAnalyzer using ‘Database Discrepancies >> SCS >> Account numbers with SI without previous quarter interest withdrawal’. This list can be used for cross-verification.


For the present quarter, withdraw interest from such SCS accounts individually using the ‘Withdraw Interest’ Form in Online Module and select ‘Transfer to SB Account’ in the payment options and enter the
SB account number.




To alter the withdrawal type from ‘SI’ to cash use DB Analyzer >> Database Discrepancies >> SCS >> Select ‘updation of withdrawal type for matured accounts’ >> Enter account number and update withdrawal type.This issue is also listed under SCS FAQ in the SBLAN web page.


SB Interest uploadation at SO

Steps to be performed at HO :
After calculating interest for SOs at HO, while doing day end in online module, a file will be automatically generated in 'HO_to_SO' folder in C drive of the system where day end is being performed. The file name will contain the scheme as 'SIP / PIP / NIP' (SB Interest Posting / PPF Interest Posting / NSS Interest Posting). Send that file to the concerned SO.

Files will be generated for the SOs selected as computerised SOs only.

Steps to be performed at SO :
Login as 'Counter' in online module of Sanchay Post at SO. Select 'Day Begin / Day End >> Import files from HO' form and select 'SB Interest Posting' option; click on 'OK'; click on 'Select File to Import' button and then select the file. This will update the interest transactions in all the accounts at SO. After this, login as supervisor in online module. Select 'SB >> Annual Interest Calculation' form and select 'Annual Interest Posting' option and run that option for all the block of account numbers.

Generic Host 32 Error Problem

Generic Host 32 error received in Client Machine -

Run this wwdc.exe when Generic Host 32 error received in Client Machine.
Where Broadband connection is available the such error is received and Client Machine is hanged...
Select the first 3 option one by one and than restart the computer....
After running this exe Generic Host problem will be solved....

If your server is hanged and  not working properly but all nodes working properly as well as WAN connectivity in client machine is properly received hence
your server having Generic Host problem.
It is also intimate to check by removing Router Gateway & Prefer & Alternate DNS from Server. After removing of these, Server problem will be solved.

In this circumtances you have to unzip the folder and run all 4 Hotfix in Server where Windows Server2003 is installed. Than after again give Router Gateway & Prefer-Alternate DNS in Server...
After running of Hotfix your problem will be solved.

Steps to be followed for Successfull Accounts MIS Transmission

Day Begin in following sequence –
1- Point of Sale → Work Allocation → Users with proper Counter No
2- Sub Accounts
3- Postman
4- Treasury
5- Other module → Speednet→ Sanchay Post

Day End in following sequence –
1- Despatch Module and match the abstract and deposit if any.
2- Speednet Despatch, Abstract View and then Day End.
3- Postman and view the all abstract and all article in Deposit.
4- Point of Sale (Counter) booking of BO transactions like PLI/RPLI/MO etc and submission of cash to treasury.
5- Sub Accounts →BO Slip Printing →Verification of Cash to/from BO→Transit adjustment.
6- Sanchay Post - View the Transaction Report


- Run the Broadband Connection
- Run the Meghdoot Accounts MIS Client.exe→ Ensure the Selection transaction Date is Current Date & Press OK Button (Only Once) and wait for movement→ Data successfully sent to Central Server message will display.
- Go to Accounts MIS web site and verify whether file received done or not.

Scanning Report discrepancy in DB Analyser

No. of accounts scanned not correctly displayed in ‘Signature Scanning’ report in DBAnalyzer.

Based on the feedback received from various sites, some changes have been made in the ‘Signature scanning report’ available under ‘Reports’ option of DBAnalyzer.

Before using Reports option go to

‘Database Discrepancies’ >> ‘Scheme’ (SB, PPF & NSS) >> ‘Account numbers with blank account status’.

Rectify the discrepancies using the 'Update' button provided in the screen.

ePayment Communication Problem

PTC, Mysore has informed that ePayment application is being shifted. Due to migration of ePayment database server and redeployment of applications the ePayment web site address has been changed from 07/12/2009 as below.
https://services.ptcmysore.gov.in/epayment
The ePayment communication exe has to be updated in all ePayment offices before connecting to ePayment central server on 07/12/2009. The new communication exe and readme file can be downloaded from ePayment web site administrator login.menu: Master Data->Download Communication exe->Download.
The new communication has to be installed on 7-12-2009 following the steps contained in the Readme file.
